We have finally settled in Tucson, Arizona! Following some interesting misadventures in eastern Pennsylvania, Thor and I have settled into a casita ... making a transition from wood frame and drywall to adobe walls and Mexican tile floors ... from the hustle and bustle of downtown Bethlehem to life in the shadow of the Catalina foothills ...
Yes,for 35 years,I have been visiting Tucson with the intention of staying there for good.
However,I always have a reson for staying in depressing Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania where 15 totally sunless days in a row are the norm. Now,my excuse is my beloved 15 year old son.He is my life and will not go with me,preferring to stay with his Mom,her boyfriend and his 2 younger half brothers. My son and I had a dream of moving to Tucson together, since our trip there when he was younger. He was fascinated by Tucson and it's environs,so much so that he wore a black cowboy hat for months with pride. My ex-wife squashed that dream and ran away with a million dollars of mine,my beloved son and her paramour.A paramour is what attornies use,for the unemployed bum that now lives off of my years of saving.
Funny thing about some women,in that they wait until you are hospitalized and down to take off.
Now my son laughs when I mention our Tucson dream.I do not know if I should leave on my own or stay here and wait to see my boy 8 days a month!Any advice,I am running out of time.
