TheREALTYgram Blogger readers will notice that there is a growing Blog list in the right column. All of these blogs are real estate or law related, although I would not rule out a link of non real estate directed blogs. Each of these blogs is worthy of a click-through. I will offer a brief review of each blog link and accompany new links with reviews when they are posted.

Curbed In New York City, it comes back to real estate, rent and the neighborhoods we inhabit. Leave it to New York real estate professionals to come up with a site like this. Design is highly professional, there's lots of eye candy, color photographs all sized for quick loading. I LOVE the design here, writing is succinct, like snippets in New York Magazine. Milton Glaser would like this site. (What's he doing these days, anyway?) Live in the Midwest Save yourself the cost of a ticket; just click on through to Curbed.
Grow a Brain bills itself as the Original Real Estate Blog. This Southern California real estate broker, Hanan Levin, offers lists of real estate blogs and an eclectic look at his interests as real estate investor, business man, inventor, entrepreneur, and published poet with emphasis on spirituality, personal development, liberal causes, art and culture. If Inman News Service is the Big Daddy of real estate news, then Inman News Blog is the irreverent teenage son. There's nothing fancy here, and there is a mix of housing and current events commentary that is entertaining as it is informative. It's on my "must read" list each day. (I'm going to have to bite the bullet one of these days and subscribe to Inman's news service. It is the single most comprehensive source of real estate information in the industry.)
Mortgage Fraud Blog Central clearinghouse for information on recent mortgage fraud schemes, indictments and prevention. This blog is chock full of useful and interesting information. Reportage is highly consistent. Style is easy to read and follow.

Notes from the (Legal) Underground A weblog that asks the question--Why are lawyers so stuffy? After Dubya signed "The Class Action 'Unfairness Act". NFTLU made the following observations:
- Companies that have wronged consumers might find themselves faced with more lawsuits, not less, since one response to the new law, which makes multi-state class actions harder to achieve, will be to file the same lawsuits in the federal court of every state with a large population; even though these various lawsuits will be consolidated by the MDL, there might be strategic reasons for the multiple lawsuits;
- Since defendants are almost always the party that proposes coupon settlements, big business will regret the day it supported the new law's barriers to coupon settlements. Since the law also makes class actions harder to settle, big business will also regret the way the law will mean many more bet-the-company class-action trials;
- The law won't affect those plaintiffs' firms that specialize in federal laws and remedies such as ERISA; by its nature, the law only affects class actions based on state law.
